陈承卫，男，
职业画家、八零画派创始人，
在中国美术美院期间成绩突出，屡获佳绩，作品颇受导师关注。4年后获得学士学位，同时毕业创作获得最高奖-学院奖。毕业后一直从事绘画教育工作和油画创作，于次年定居北京，至今从事职业画家的创作，作品深受画廊，机构，评论家及收藏家的关注。师承导师杨飞云先生，深受前辈名师们的绘画美学影响，先后去法国，意大利等国家进行艺术考察，崇尚伦勃朗等西方油画大师，作品注重光线，热爱生活，将古典与现实主义完美结合，作品被中国美术学院，拍卖公司，艺术机构，画廊，海内外收藏家所收藏。

Introduction
 
Chengwei Chen is a professional artist and founder of the 80's Oil Painting School. He graduated from the China Academy of Arts. Chen has made great achievements since he was a student. After graduating, he committed himself into teaching and painting. The second year after his graduation, he settled down in Beijing and began his career as a professional painter. As a young artist full of potential, his work was greatly focused by many galleries, collectors and critics. Modeled after Yunfei Yang, Chen traveled around Europe to study western art and was deeply influenced by some masters, like Rembrandt. Showing his love for life, his work emphasized lightness. His work, which combines classicism and realism, is now collected by China Academy of Arts, many auction companies, art institutions and collectors in China and abroad.
